REMIX3D – Revaluation of waste plastics in mixed fraction through large-format AM.

REMIX3D – REVALUATION OF WASTE PLASTICS IN MIXED FRACTIONS USING LARGE-FORMAT AM.
Project CPP2023-010836 funded by MICIU/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and by FEDER, EU.
Objective: The general objectives of the REMIX3D project are:
OG1. Develop a recovery pathway for thermoplastic waste, within the mixed streams of municipal and similar waste, in terms of the minimum viable physical-thermal product for subsequent use through extrusion, always keeping as fundamental premises the immediacy of waste availability from its collection and the simplicity of technological implementation.
OG.2 Implementation of a large-scale 3D printing system, with high associated extrusion/deposition ratios, that adapts operationally to the output material defined in the established recovery pathway (General Objective 1) and that allows the manufacture of large-scale elements for target market niches.
Consortium: The consortium is made up of SOLTECO, COGERSA, IDONIAL and AIMPLAS.
Duration: November 2024 – October 2027
