Programme: Licitación Agencia Sekuens (​LIC/2025/000003)

Objective: To promote the integration of engineering and healthcare to develop and validate innovative technological solutions with a direct impact on improving clinical care and the operational efficiency of the healthcare system. The project encompasses everything from the design of new medical devices—through the combination of advanced electronics and mechanics—to the optimization of care processes using innovative methodologies and technologies. It also promotes the transfer of innovation to the market and the creation of a collaborative ecosystem that reduces the gap between the clinical and technological sectors, fostering strategic alliances between hospitals, technology centers, and companies. The work will be carried out in collaboration with the Central University Hospital of Asturias (HUCA).
